Only Henan

"Goren" is an artistic lighting project situated in the lobby of the "Only Theatre" hotel within the "Only Henan, Theatrical Fantasyland" theme park in China. Designed by Israeli artist Nati Tunkelrot, I also contributed to this project as Henan is my hometown. My responsibilities involved procuring, transporting, processing, and storing wheat raw materials, as well as overseeing the recruitment and management of the construction team. This endeavor encompassed about 600 days, starting from the initial wheat harvesting in 2021 until its final realization in 2022. Despite not being the designer, it was gratifying to witness the wheat I personally harvested undergo a remarkable transformation into a captivating artwork, while aiding the artist in overcoming numerous pandemic-related challenges.
